Legal protection of a well-known trademark is granted indefinitely.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The copyright holder of a trademark recognize as well known in the Republic of Armenia has the right to prohibit others if without his\/her permission they are using in the course of industrial or commercial activity a mark which is a reproduction, imitation or translation of a well-known trademark, may cause confusion with and is used in relation to identical and (or) similar products.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The right holder of a trademark recognized as well known for the exercise of the rights established by law has the right to apply to the court. If a trademark opposing a well-known trademark has been put into real use during industrial or commercial activity during the five consecutive years preceding the year in which it was brought before the court, then this circumstance serves as a basis for dismissal of the claim brought to court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A trademark may be recognized as well known in the Republic of Armenia if, as a result of its use it is widely recognized in the territory of the Republic of Armenian respect of goods and (or) services for which trademarks are used.
